Job Summary:
Fahi-Q Innovation is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Purchase Executive to manage and strengthen our supply chain and procurement activities. The ideal candidate must have strong field knowledge, vendor management skills, and the ability to independently handle all purchase functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and finalize purchases of raw materials, components, and machinery parts.
- Identify reliable suppliers, maintain strong vendor relationships, and evaluate vendor performance regularly.
- Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Track and manage inventory levels; coordinate with warehouse and production teams.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs), maintain procurement records, and ensure documentation compliance.
- Forecast material requirements based on production plans and project needs.
- Handle material inspections, resolve discrepancies, and manage supplier disputes if any.
- Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and alternative materials.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement, preferably in manufacturing or engineering companies.
- Strong Field Knowledge: Deep understanding of raw material sourcing, vendor development, and machinery parts.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and close deals favorably.
- Documentation: Hands-on experience with Purchase Orders, GRNs, and vendor management systems.
- Coordination: Ability to work closely with the Production, Stores, and Accounts departments.
- Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Tools: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic ERP systems.
- Qualification: Graduate / Diploma (Supply Chain Management or related field preferred).
